This will be a morning for ladies to worship together and PRAISE the Lord.  We will EXALT the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Sheri Jennings has accepted the position of Children's Ministry Director at Thomasville Mt. Zion Church. Sheri was serving as Children's Ministry Director at High Point First.

Local Church News - Sophia Mt Olive

Revival Services will be held at the Mt. Olive Wesleyan Church, Sophia, October 27-30. with Evangelist Kenny Greenway.  Services will be held on Sunday at 11 AM & 7PM; and on Monday thru Wednesday at 7 PM.  For more information contact Pastor Paul Griffin at 336-267-5959.

Reminder - Old Fashioned Camp Meeting Day This Thursday

Reminder - The 6th Annual Old Fashioned Camp Meeting Day at Victory Mountain Camp will be this Thursday, October 24, from 9:30am-1pm.  Special speaker is Pastor Kerry Willis, Pastor at Harrisonburg, VA First Church of The Nazarene.  Lunch is provided.  There is no charge.

Prayer Request - Nanney

Remember the family of Selma Nanney in prayer. Selma Sisk Nanney, widow of deceased NC East minister Roy Nanney, went to be with the Lord this past Friday. A Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Monday (today)  at Eternal Hills Cemetery, Forest City, NC.

Surviving  are sons, Rev. Keith Nanney and wife, Sandra of Clayton,  Chaplain Mark Nanney and wife, Marcie of Raleigh, and Scott Nanney and wife, Kim of Lexington, NC; sister, Velma Dobbins of Raleigh; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Roy Nanney, daughter, Janet Schism; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Congratulations to Pastor Eddie and Martha Marie Smith, Salisbury Freedom Journey.  Their fourth child, Noah Marshall Smith, was born on Thursday, October 17 at 5:27 p.m. weighing 7 lbs, 10 oz and 20 inches long.
